FRIDAY, SEPT. 12
• 3:02 p.m. — Police responded to a report of illegal camping at Marys River Park and Natural Area. A man was found sleeping along the park’s fence line.
• 5:20 p.m. — Police responded to a report in the 500 block of North 11th Street of a juvenile boy who was hit by a car while attempting to cross the street on his bicycle. The driver cooperated with police and the boy was transported to the hospital with minor injuries via personal vehicle.
• 10:32 p.m. — Police responded to a report of the theft of medical supplies at South 18th Street and Ash Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a noise disturbance at 2:05 a.m. (Newton Street), traffic hazard at 11:18 a.m. (Pioneer Street and North 18th Street), park patrol at 3:48 p.m. (Marys River Park and Natural Area) and foot patrol at 9:53 p.m. (Fern Road). PPD reported four traffic stops.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 13
• 9:12 a.m. — Police responded to the 2500 block of Newton Street for a report of a possible burglary with the caller concerned about noises coming from upstairs. The noises were determined to be coming from a neighbor.
Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 1:48 a.m. (Main Street), foot patrol at 6:36 a.m. (Marys River Park and Natural Area) and found property at 2:34 p.m. (North 12th Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 14
• 10:40 a.m. — Police took a report of criminal mischief involving a young male who performed a burnout in the city limits. The individual made an effort to contact all who were affected, including law enforcement.
• 4:48 p.m. — Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Ukiah, California, on a warrant in the 100 block of South 20th Street. The man was cited and released.
Other calls: Police responses included a report of a suspicious person at 11:09 p.m. (South 18th Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.
MONDAY, SEPT. 15
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a juvenile complaint at 4:01 p.m. (Chapel Drive) and harassment via text messages at 4:03 p.m. (Cedar Place). PPD reported no traffic stops.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 16
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included overdose/poisoning at 8:41 a.m. (Applegate Street), found property at 2:42 p.m. (South 13th Street), reckless driving at 3:45 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard and Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis) and a report of harassment at 4:16 p.m. (South 18th Street). PPD reported no traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 17
• 8:38 a.m. — Police arrested a 69-year-old Philomath woman on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief involving criminal damage in the 1400 block of Main Street following an incident that involved purposely damaging a business’s window.
• 6:08 p.m. — Police found a dog in the 800 block of Main Street and transported it to Heartland Humane Society. The dog was a small, white-mixed breed.
Other calls: Police responses included a mental health situation at 6:39 a.m., suspicious circumstance at 1:46 p.m. (North 12th Street), dog at large at 3:21 p.m. (North Seventh Street and Main Street), juvenile complaint at 4:03 p.m. (Applegate Street) and a city ordinance violation at 9:48 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported nine traffic stops.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 18
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 6:21 a.m. (North 13th Street), vicious dog at 9:23 a.m. (North 12th Street), parking complaint at 3:09 p.m. (Applegate Street) and a juvenile complaint at 4:22 p.m. (North Seventh Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
