Philomath High School’s summer team, Les and Bob’s, will host its annual tournament Friday through Sunday at Terry Stephenson Field.

The home team will play its first game at 7:30 p.m. Friday against Santiam Christian. Other teams participating include Corvallis, Dallas, Junction City, South Albany and The Dalles. Newport had registered to compete but needed to drop out.

Admission is $5 per game or $10 for a tournament pass. Money from admission fees and concessions go to the PHS baseball program.

Les and Bob’s has a 4-5 record so far this summer and is scheduled to play South Albany Wednesday evening before getting into tournament play.

If Les and Bob’s wins Friday, the team will advance to a semifinal matchup at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against the winner of Corvalis vs. The Dalles. If Philomath comes up short Friday, the losers of those two games will meet at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The consolation and championship games are scheduled for Sunday at noon and 5 p.m., respectively. Other Sunday games include the losers out of the consolation semifinals at 9:30 a.m., and losers out of the winner’s bracket semifinals at 2:30 p.m.
