The annual Philomath High School All-Class Reunion, also affectionately known in the past as the “Philomath Old-Timers Reunion,” is returning to Philomath City Park on Saturday, July 26 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The community gathering welcomes anyone who attended the high school, taught classes or worked at Philomath schools.
The reunion will take place at the Randy Kugler Community Hall in the city park, located at 299 S. 23rd St. The event centers around a potluck lunch served at noon with organizers encouraging attendees to bring main entrées to share. While table service and limited beverages will be provided, seating is limited, so bringing a lawn chair is recommended.
Organizers are planning to provide oven-roasted and barbecue-flavored chicken wings along with traditional fried chicken. However, they’re still seeking additional protein options and are asking attendees to consider bringing dishes like meatballs or little smokies in barbecue sauce to round out the food options.
For those interested in All-Class Reunion apparel, Les and Bob’s has reopened its online store for purchases through July 11. The store will also have representatives at the reunion picnic ready to take orders for those who want to commemorate the event with merchandise.

Other class-specific reunions
The Class of 1970 has planned its own special celebration to complement the all-class gathering. They’ve reserved the lounge at Vinwood Taphouse on July 26 from 5 p.m. to closing for a no-host get-together where classmates can purchase their own food and drinks. Vinwood is located at 1736 Main St.
Additionally, the Class of 1975 is marking its 50th reunion with a dinner social on July 25 at the Elks Lodge in Corvallis. Class of ’75 graduates can contact Lori Tunison at 541-609-0425 for more information about their Friday evening event.
As reported, the Class of 2005 is also planning 20-year reunion events with a casual gathering at the July 12 post-rodeo dance at the Philomath Frolic and Rodeo and a potluck party from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. July 13 at MLK Jr. Park (4905 NW Walnut Blvd., Corvallis). The classes of 2014 and 2015 are also planning a casual reunion event from 2-5 p.m. July 12 at Lumos Wine and will continue into the evening at the rodeo and dance. See separate news brief for more details.
