The Philomath High School cheerleading team will host Go 4 Gameday Gold, a competition on Saturday that features high school and rec teams from around the state.
The doors open at 8:30 a.m. with the first performance scheduled for 9 a.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for military and seniors. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free.
Funds raised at the event will benefit the PHS cheerleading program.
The teams will compete in the Game Day category, which revolves around performances that showcase the type of traditional cheerleading that leads the crowd while incorporating various skills.
Go 4 Gameday Gold will include Philomath Booster Club concessions, Philomath Rec Cheer 50/50 raffle, cheer grams, event swag and more.
