The No. 2 OSAA-ranked Warriors remain unbeaten in the Oregon West at 3-0 and improve to 13-3 overall. Philomath will next face Stayton on its home floor at 5:30 p.m. Monday. The Eagles are coming off a 57-53 win over Newport and have records of 1-2 in league and 8-7 overall.

Peters had nine points by halftime, a stretch that included a 3-pointer in the first quarter, and ended up with five field goals and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line.
Philomath’s defense limited the Huskies to nine baskets and single digits in all four quarters.
In Philomath’s last five meetings against Sweet Home, the Warriors won all five with an average score of 55-22.
