The Philomath High School girls tennis team swept the singles matches and won three of four doubles to take a 7-1 victory Wednesday over Sisters.
In the singles matches, Bailey Bell at No. 1 and Adele Beckstead at No. 2 both won easily. Bell took down her opponent, 6-0, 6-2, while Beckstead posted a victory of 6-1, 6-0. At No. 3 singles, Daniella Carlisle was challenged but she still won in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3. Megan Reese at No. 4 singles was also pushed but she pulled out a win of 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
K Bacho and Phoebe Dodson teamed up for a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Nadia Durski and Lorelei Schell posted a win of 6-3, 6-0 in the No. 2 slot. And at No. 3, Abigail Workman and Stella Neville took a 6-3, 7-5 win.
Philomath is scheduled to play Thursday at Corvallis.
