The Philomath High School girls tennis team swept all singles and doubles matches Tuesday in an 8-0 victory at North Marion.
Senior Bailey Bell, junior Adele Beckstead and senior Megan Reese all defeated their opponents in singles by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Senior Elise Reese posted a 7-6, 6-3 win over her opponent.
In doubles, seniors Daniella Carlisle and Nadia Durski were 6-1, 6-4 winners in the No. 1 spot. Senior Lorelei Schell and sophomore Lucie Oster won at No. 2 doubles, 6-0, 6-1. Freshman Clara Neville and sophomore Maggie King were 6-0, 6-1 winners at No. 3. Freshman Maggie Real and freshman Lucy Thomas teamed up for a win at No. 4 by a count of 6-1, 6-2.
The team is scheduled to play next on April 16 vs. Stayton.
