The Philomath Fire and Rescue Board of Directors will meet at 3 p.m. Monday at Station 201.
The board will consider the future of the Wren station during the meeting, according to the published agenda. Fire Chief Chancy Ferguson is scheduled to lead the discussion. A chief’s report that is included in the meeting materials indicates that there have been talks with board members independently about the station’s lease agreement.
In other business, the board is expected to approve a resolution related to a levy update. Office Administrator Ashley Scott will also present recommendations for appointing a budget officer.
The board will consider appointing a liaison to the Philomath Community Vision 2050 planning effort.
Board members will receive reports from Ferguson, Scott and Operations Chief Dan Eddy. Representatives from the Philomath Volunteer Association, the firefighters union and City Council liaison Diane Crocker are also scheduled to report.
According to the agenda, the board will adjourn into executive session immediately after roll call to discuss real property transactions.
