The Philomath Fire and Rescue board of directors will convene at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at Station 201 to address several key items for the coming year.
Board members will discuss goals for the 2025-26 period as part of their planning efforts. The meeting will also include scheduling this year’s volunteer appreciation dinner and confirming attendance at an upcoming professional conference.
The agenda features a review of updated job descriptions and consideration of purchasing new handheld radio equipment. Directors will receive an update on ongoing levy discussions under old business.
Time has been allocated for reports from department leadership, including the fire chief, operations chief and office administrator. The volunteer association, firefighter union and city liaison will also have the opportunity to provide updates.
