The Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments has integrated the Philomath Connection bus service into its regional CW Ride website and the Transit mobile app. The move expands digital transit options for riders traveling between Philomath and Corvallis, the organization announced this week.

The integration connects the fareless Philomath Connection service to the broader Cascades West Transit network, which serves Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties. Through the CW Ride platform, passengers can now access real-time bus tracking, trip planning tools and connection information across multiple transit providers in the region.

The Transit app, available as a free download, provides riders with live bus arrival predictions and route planning capabilities. The technology tracks buses in real time to help passengers know exactly when their bus will arrive at each stop. The app works not only locally but also in over 871 metropolitan areas across 25 countries.

The Philomath Connection operates as a fareless transit system linking Philomath and Corvallis with stops that include Oregon State University. The service is wheelchair accessible with ramp equipment and offers bicycle racks that can accommodate up to two adult bicycles on a first-come, first-served basis.

The service does not operate on Sundays or major holidays.
