It feels like summer came early this year, doesn’t it? We don’t mind!

The transition from spring to summer is special, especially here in Philomath. It warms up, because we are so close to summer; yet the grass is still green, because we are so close to spring. The bees are busy pollinating, the plants are busy growing, and Philomath Community Services is buzzing and growing too, through this challenging and exciting time.

As always, we thank you for being a community of People Helping People, for making PCS what it is. We are grateful for each of you and want you to remember that we are here for you.

Updates may be found here.

Helping Here and Abroad

PCS had the opportunity to participate in a donation drive to support those in need in war- torn Ukraine.

All of your donated items were brought together with supplies from other groups, and the Corvallis Sister Cities Association coordinated over 100 volunteers help assemble over 400 first aid kits to serve folks in dire need.

Thank you for looking out for your neighbors, near and far!

Thanks All Around

We would also like to recognize the Baháʼí and Grange volunteers who came out this past spring to help out in Lupe’s Community Garden.

We are pleased and impressed with how much work got done!
