Oregon Department of Transportation

The Oregon Department of Transportation plans to perform work on the Pedee Creek Bridge at milepost 18.9 on Kings Valley Highway from Sept. 20-30, the state agency announced. The work will cause delays from lane closures with flaggers in place to help direct traffic.

The work will include replacing some of the wood that supports the bridge, ODOT said.

Crews are expected to be working from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 20 through Thursday, Sept. 23, and Monday, Sept. 27 through Thursday, Sept. 30.

Following on Sunday, Oct. 3, the highway will be fully closed from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. to use a mobile crane truck that takes up most of the road. ODOT suggests using Maxfield Creek Road, Arlie Road and Maple Grove Road to get around the closure.
