Patrick Lumber Co. announced a series of leadership promotions and industry appointments this week, elevating three employees to new roles within the company and the broader lumber industry.
Chelsea Zuccato has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing, where she will lead the company’s trading team and marketing communications. Zuccato, who has nearly two decades of experience at Patrick Lumber Co., was also recently appointed to the North American Wholesale Lumber Association board of directors.
Lena Jacobsen has been promoted to controller, overseeing the company’s financial operations and accounting strategy. Jacobsen recently earned her CPA certification.
John Quast, the company’s president of export, has been elected president of the Portland Lumber Exporters Association.
“Chelsea’s ability to build strong relationships and genuinely support the people around her has been instrumental in our success,” Natalie Heacock, president and chief financial officer at Patrick Lumber said through a press release. “Her leadership style fosters collaboration, trust and long-term partnerships that continue to drive growth.”
Heacock said Jacobsen’s “dedication, follow-through and strong financial acumen” make her well-suited for the controller position, adding that she expects Jacobsen to help guide the company’s continued growth.
Regarding Quast’s election, Heacock said his industry involvement reflects both his expertise and leadership in the lumber community.
Patrick Lumber Company is a Pacific Northwest-based lumber wholesaler and specialty wood supplier based in Philomath.
