THURSDAY, MAY 29

• 8:07 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 211 about 2 miles northeast of Molalla that took the life of Rodney Alan Keech, 63, of Molalla. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Keech was driving north in a Dodge Ram 1500 when for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled before coming to a rest on its roof. Keech was declared deceased at the scene.

TUESDAY, JUNE 3

• 6:26 a.m. — Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 58 near Oakridge that took the life of David William Dickey, 45, of Portland. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Dickey was driving east on Highway 58 in a GMC Yukon when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and hit head-on a semi-truck operated by a 40-year-old Forest Hills, New York, resident. Dickey was pronounced deceased at the scene. The truck driver was reportedly not injured.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4

• 3:55 p.m. — Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Seal Rock in Lincoln County that took the life of Jonathan Joseph Channels, 23, of Waldport. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Channels was driving south on Highway 101 in a Ford Taurus and for unknown reasons, crossed over into the northbound lane and collided with a Ram 2500 driven by a 54-year-old Santa Rosa, California, man. Channels was declared deceased at the scene. The Ram’s driver and a passenger, a 38-year-old Santa Rosa, California, man, were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
