THURSDAY, OCT. 31

• 5:55 a.m. — Troopers responded to a vehicle-pedestrian crash on Highway 140 near Dean Creek Road in the Central Point vicinity that took the life of Robert Allen Dishman, 68, of Yreka, California. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 44-year-old Grants Pass man was headed east on the highway when he struck Dishman, who was crossing the highway on foot. The driver of the vehicle remained on site and cooperated with investigators. Dishman was declared deceased at the scene. The driver was not injured.

FRIDAY, NOV. 1

• 7:36 p.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 205 near milepost 8 in West Linn that took the life of Rochelle H. Davis, 64, of Gladstone. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Davis was driving north on I-205 in a Toyota Highlander and for unknown reasons, entered a gore point (space between the travel lanes and off-ramp) and struck a cable barrier, which led to a rollover. Davis was declared deceased at the scene.

• Time NA — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 97 about 20 miles north of Chiloquin that took the lives of Leonides Jimenez Mendoza, 24, city of residence unknown, and Humberta Hernandez Hernandez, 43, city of residence unknown. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a 32-year-old Stockton, California man driving a semi-truck north on Highway 97 lost control in icy conditions, crossed into the southbound lane and jack-knifed. A Subaru WRX driven by Mendoza went under the crashed truck and was severely damaged. Mendoza and Hernandez Hernandez, a passenger in the Subaru, were declared deceased at the scene.

MONDAY, NOV. 4

• 10:42 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 38 about 2 miles west of Drain that took the life of Anne Adair Johnson, 64, of Salem. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Johnson was driving a Honda CRV east on Highway 38 when for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, rolled and struck trees. Johnson was declared deceased at the scene.

TUESDAY, NOV. 5

• 3:05 p.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 230 in rural Douglas County that took the life of Justus Wilson Jackson, 19, of Beaverton. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Jackson was driving south on Highway 230 in a Toyota Corolla when for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Johnson was declared deceased at the scene.
