SUNDAY, NOV. 16
• 8:39 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 224 about 1 mile west of Barton in Clackamas County that took the life of Akahieleu Redo, 22, of Oregon City. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Redo was riding a westbound Yamaha R6 when he lost control while negotiating a curve, left the roadway, struck a mound of dirt and went airborne before the motorcycle and rider came to rest in a tree. Redo was declared deceased at the scene.
THURSDAY, NOV. 20
• 2:56 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 51 near Monmouth that took the life of Kyle Edward Maldonado, 23, of Keizer. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Maldonado was driving a southbound Ford Ranger when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and rolled down a slope. Maldonado was declared deceased at the scene.
