Connie Best, 91, of Philomath, Oregon, passed away on February 10, 2025. Connie was born on January 3, 1934, in Dallas, Texas, to Dominick and Alice Vitolo.
Connie is predeceased by her parents, Dominick and Alice; her brother, Richard; her sister, Vivian; her husband, Bob; and her companion dog of 13 years, Bouncer. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Joy Best April, and son-in-law, Rocco April; son, Robert O. Best and daughter-in-law, Michelle (Vansickle) Best; brother, Raymond; niece, Suzanne (Oliver) Wallace; nephew, Nic Oliver; her former partner of 35 years, Larry Schmidt, grandchildren, Mitchell Tanselli, Jaden Drew Best April, Hannah Best and Bryndyn Best; her close friend, Connie Wyrostek; many other beloved relatives and her cherished cat, Midnight Rose.
Connie’s parting words were “My family was my life.” At her request, there will be no services.
