In the second inning, Philomath got some offense going with senior Janae Traglia leading off with a single to right field. Later in the inning, freshman Libby Kramer doubled to center field to drive in Traglia. Scoring on the throw was senior Laighla Hockema, who had earlier reached on an error.

In the fifth and trailing by nine runs, the Warriors pushed three runs across. Senior Kaylie Kohler hit a single to left and senior Zoee Howard scored on the throw. Sophomore Haley King later scored on a steal of home and then freshman Hailey Smith singled to drive in Kohler.

The Warriors added another run in the sixth on a one-run double by King that drove in Howard.

In the seventh, Philomath cut the deficit to two runs with another three on the scoreboard. Sophomore Sierra Skaggs opened the inning with a walk and then scored on a Smith double. Traglia followed with a double to drive in Traglia. Senior Hannah Bennett hit a sacrifice toward the pitcher to get Traglia home.

At the plate, Traglia went 3 for 4, Smith was 2 for 3 and King went 2 for 3. Kramer and Hockema were in the circle.
