A semi-truck collided with a passenger car just before noon Tuesday on Main Street near South 24th Street but all escaped with only minor injuries, Philomath Fire & Rescue reported.
Philomath Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the scene of the crash at 11:54 a.m. April 25 on Main Street in an area located just across the street from Timber Supply. Rich Saalsaa, Fire & Rescue deputy fire chief, said the road had to be closed for approximately 15 minutes.
The truck’s driver and the private vehicle’s driver and passenger did not require transportation to the hospital, Saalsaa said.
The local fire department responded with an engine, three personnel and an incident commander. Corvallis Fire, Benton County Sheriff’s Office and Philomath Police assisted at the scene.
