Good morning, Philomath.

An executive order issued Thursday by Gov. Tina Kotek leads to questions that need to be answered, Philomath schools superintendent Susan Halliday said last night. The Philomath High boys volleyball hosted Toledo Thursday evening and swept the Boomers. Then they played a fourth set for fun. We also have a preview of Benton County’s annual drug take-back event. In partner content, we have news from Oregon Journalism Project about an emissions-reduction regulation lawsuit and Oregon Capital Chronicle’s piece on the governor’s veto of a bill that would change public meetings law. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
