VOLUME 7, NUMBER 67
Thursday, March 26, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

I talked yesterday with Benton County Sheriff Jef Van Arsdall about his decision to not seek re-election. Last night, Philomath High’s baseball team won in walk-off fashion for the second time this season. The latest BCSO Log provides info on recent incidents and arrests. The PHS Hall of Fame folks said there are still tickets available for their May 9 event. We have a service notice for the late George Shroyer Jr., who passed in September. In partner content, the Oregon Journalism Project found revealing news about our population through the most-recent census data. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
