VOLUME 7, NUMBER 51
Thursday, March 5, 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
March on Hunger in Philomath is back this year and the folks running it need volunteers (and on March 14, food donations). The high school responded to a threat with a security sweep on Wednesday. Girls basketball players Reagan Heiken and Annaleise Brown are both first-team selections on the all-OWC team. PHS student, Ana Candanoza is participating again this year in the state ski championships. The latest BCSO Log is now online. Partner content includes a follow-up on the state’s actions against Robert Pamplin Jr. If you didn’t see the story updates, the boys playoff game at St. Helens is set for 7 p.m. Friday; the girls at Molalla has a start time of 6 p.m. Saturday. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
