THURSDAY, FEB. 19
• 10:57 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 29-year-old Dallas man on a warrant out of Jackson County Circuit Court during a traffic stop on Highway 20 and Marys River Estates Road. The man was transported to Benton County Jail.
MONDAY, FEB. 23
• 3:40 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash in the 500 block of North 19th Street involving a Subaru Outback driven by a 52-year-old Alsea woman. The driver and a passenger, a 63-year-old Alsea woman, were transported with minor injuries to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 25
• 1:37 a.m. — BCSO arrested Samuel A. Monroe, 48, of Philomath, on a felony charge of driving while license suspended or revoked and on multiple warrants from multiple jurisdictions during a traffic stop near the intersection of Main Street and 26th Street. Also arrested was a 39-year-old Corvallis woman on multiple warrants from multiple jurisdictions.
• 1:40 p.m. — BCSO while on forest patrol discovered a damaged Starker Forests gate on Marys Peak Road. It appeared that a vehicle had purposely rammed through a double-wide cattle gate near Kiser Creek, causing damage to both gate panels while ripping a wooden post out of the ground. The damage was estimated at $1,000.
THURSDAY, FEB. 26
• BCSO responded (time not reported) to a report of suspicious activity possibly with an attempted burglary at a home on Clark Drive near Philomath. An unknown male in a dark-colored truck came to the residence, passed by the front door and went to the side of the house but did not appear to steal any items.
