VOLUME 7, NUMBER 226
Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

I’m leading off this morning’s newsletter with coverage out of last weekend’s Paul Mariman Invitational, which includes a gallery of photos. I’ve also written the first of various stories coming out of last night’s Philomath City Council meeting — this one on a strategic plan update. A reminder that today is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 3 election. Plus, the latest Philomath Police Log and Philomath Fire and Rescue Calls. And, we have a news brief about a No Kings rally planned for Saturday that encourages voting and a letter to the editor related to a Sweet Home teen who died from injuries in a junior varsity football game. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
