Good morning, Philomath.

Sad news from over the weekend with the likely discovery of Devon Dobek’s remains in the Mount Hood wilderness. Three Philomath runners competed in a huge regional cross-country meet at Spokane. The latest Philomath Police Log and Philomath Fire and Rescue Calls have been published. From a partner publication on the coast, we have the story of a young humpback whale that had to be euthanized after an attempted rescue failed. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
