VOLUME 6, NUMBER 237

Good morning, Philomath.

Over the past several months, comments on police car visibility have popped up on a few occasions during city meetings, including this past Monday. Police Chief Dave Gurski answered questions about the topic, which leads off this weekend’s Three Things column. I also wrote about citizen involvement in local government and volleyball foodies. I covered Philomath High’s quarterfinals match yesterday at Coos Bay vs. Cascade, which includes a story and photo gallery. Plus, the latest OSP Log unfortunately includes several reports of fatalities on the state’s highways. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
