VOLUME 5, NUMBER 49

In the newsletter today: Philomath City Hall will become more accessible, become safer for employees and have more office space if plans materialize over the 2024-25 fiscal year. Also, we have some interesting historical items in this week’s From the Past column (has anyone ever heard of the Monroe Colony in 1899?) and we have an obituary for Karen Randall, who passed away last month at her home in Wren. On a side note, the story hasn’t been written yet but Philomath’s boys lost to Baker this afternoon and are scheduled to play at 9 a.m. tomorrow against Madras up at the 4A tournament in Forest Grove. The girls play tonight at 6:30 vs. Marist.
Thanks for reading!
