It’s Friday the 13th, so best of luck with your day. I’ve done a little reading on this superstition and the most common theory about its origin points to the Last Supper with Jesus and his 12 disciples and the crucifixion occurring the next day (Good Friday). By the way, if you fear Friday the 13th, you suffer from friggatriskaidekaphobia.
