Congrats to Ed Easterling and Crestmont Family Farm for the regional tree farmer honor and kudos to Philomath Fire & Rescue’s latest firefighting efforts at a rural property on Sunday afternoon and its response to a ruptured gas line incident at the College church on Monday afternoon. Also, condolences to the family of James McCall, a former Philomath resident who died Saturday at age 74. Mr. McCall was a 1966 graduate of Philomath High.
