The Museum Kids series of activities by the Benton County Historical Society will continue in Philomath Saturday, Dec. 7 with a program on Christmas trees in agriculture. The free family day event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m.-noon at Philomath Museum.
In its promotional materials on the activity, BCHS writes, “Christmas tree farms have been an important part of Benton County agriculture for many decades. Learn about the history of this unique crop.”
The activity features hands-on booths and participants can make an ornament to take home. Organizers said registration is not required but a courtesy RSVP is appreciated (click here to RSVP).
