Philomath High School senior Isabelle Muir turned in a top-five finish at the Taft Invitational Tuesday at Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach.
Muir made par on the fifth and 15th holes and finished with a 53 on the front 9 and a 51 on the back for a total score of 104. Senior Shaylee May turned in a score of 116, which included a 54 on the back 9, to end up 16th.
Elsewhere on the team, junior Annaleise Brown was 25th with 124 and senior Marlee Quetschke was 40th with 152.
Santiam Christian senior Emory Lageliers was the individual winner with an 85, three strokes ahead of teammate Akira White, a senior.
Santiam Christian easily won the team title with 400. Taft was the runner-up at 448. Philomath was in the mix in a tight battle for third through sixth. Newport snagged third at 482 with Amity fourth at 493, Philomath fifth at 496 and Sweet Home sixth at 504.
Philomath now turns its attention to the 4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 4 tournament on May 4-5 at Mallard Creek Golf Course near Lebanon.
