DICKSON — In this city, May 9, at the residence of her daughter, 333-½ Market st., Mahala J. Dickson, aged 63 years, Oregon pioneer of 1852; beloved wife of J.H. Dickson, mother of Mrs. Isaac Fogel, Portland, Or.; Mrs. Frank Stansell, Quincy, Mich.; Mrs. Albert Adamson, Canby, Or.; Mrs. William Hunter, Elk River, Idaho; Mrs. Robert Kinzel, Chelan, Wash.; Mrs. D.T. Harding and Ira William and Charles Kisor, Newport, Or., and Edward Kisor, Canby, Or. Remains will be taken to Corvallis, Or., for interment.

The funeral of Mrs. Mahala Dickson, whose remains have been brought here from Canby for burial, will be held Sunday at 11 o’clock. The body is at the home of her sister, Mrs. Susanne Newton, near Philomath, where the funeral service will be conducted by Rev. A.F. Bassford. Mrs. Dickson was aged 63 years, having died on her birthday anniversary, May 9. She came to Oregon from Illinois when four years old, and resided in Benton county until eight or ten years ago, when she moved to Canby. There were ten children. Interment will be made in Newton cemetery.
