DIED—At the residence of Jas. Keyes, Benton County, Ogn. Jan. 25th, 1876, John Keyes, Aged 74 years 15 days.

Mr. Keyes was born in Washington county, Va., in the year A.D. 1802. In the year 1803 or 1813 (year not decipherable) his parents removed to East Tenn. Mr. Keyes engaged in active business until the fall of the year 1869, when he removed to Benton county, Ogn., where he remained in feeble health, the guest of his brother, beloved and honored by all who knew him until the time of his death. Mr. Keyes died suddenly while engaged at his work. But though death came quickly, he was not unprepared.
