Ernest E. Rhode, of Philomath, died at his home near that place yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Mr. Rhode was born in Kansas and was a farmer. He was aged 41 years, 5 months and 21 days, and leaves a widow and several children to mourn his demise. Funeral services will be held from the Beulah church tomorrow, Tuesday morning, at 11 o’clock, Rev. H.H. Hubbell, of the Christian church of this city, officiating. Interment will be in Newton cemetery. Friends have expressed sincerest sympathy for the bereaved widow and children.

Funeral services over the remains of the late Ernest E. Rhode, who died Sunday at his home near Philomath, were held from the Beulah church at 11 o’clock yesterday morning, with Rev. H.H. Hubbell, of the Christian church of this city, officiating. Interment was in Newton cemetery.
