Oak Ridge Citizen Dies — David Mangle, 78 years of age and one of the well known citizens of the Oak Ridge neighborhood, died at 8 o’clock this morning at the home of his son, Glenn Mangle, where he had resided during recent years, his death following a complicated illness and general debility. The funeral service is to be held from the residence, known as the W.M. Jones place, 8 miles southwest of Corvallis at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. S.M. Wood of Corvallis will officiate and burial will be in Newton cemetery. Mr. Mangle is survived by his son and several grandchildren. He has resided in southern Benton county a number of years, was one of the highly esteemed residents of that community and news of his passing has brought universal regret to a very wide circle of friends.
