A man who lost his life May 31 in a motorcycle-semi-truck collision on Highway 20 has been identified as Adam Wayne Frazier, 48, of Eddyville, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The sheriff’s office responded to the call at 6:15 p.m. on that Tuesday evening at a location about three miles east of Burnt Woods and four miles west of Blodgett.

The sheriff’s office said it determined that Frazier was headed west on the highway when for unknown reasons, he crashed his 2015 Ducati motorcycle into the driver side tires of a 2016 Kenworth semi-truck, driven by a 36-year-old Lebanon man, in the center of the eastbound lane.

Frazier was pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway was closed for more than two hours that night with traffic detoured via Highway 180.
