The College United Methodist Church announced the return of its popular omelet dinners with the first one coming up on Friday, Oct. 7.
The event, which features made-to-order omelets, will run from 5-7 p.m. in the church’s social hall.
The menu features a ruffled French omelet with a choice of fillings (see the event flyer for a list of available ingredients). Prices are $8 for a regular omelet; $9 for a deluxe omelet with scones and gravy; $6 for a child’s omelet (ages 10 and under) and $7 for scones and gravy. Fruit and a beverage are included. Homemade desserts are available for an extra charge.
The omelet dinners date back to 1988 to help raise money to help pay parsonage property taxes.
The omelet dinner events take place on the first Friday of most months — exceptions being April when a spaghetti dinner is offered and over the summer months of July and August.
The church is located at 1123 Main St., next to the Philomath Museum.
