The Friends of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library will host a book sale in conjunction with the Corvallis Fall Festival, organizers announced.
The book sale runs Friday through Sunday in the main meeting room at the Corvallis library and will benefit activities at all library locations — Alsea, Corvallis, Monroe, Philomath and the bookmobile.
The sale begins Friday with members-only access from 3-4:30 p.m. before opening up to the general public from 4:30-6 p.m. The event continues for all from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Items on Sunday will be half off.
Memberships to Friends of the Library will be sold ($10) at the door Friday to those interested in attending the members-only hours. Or, memberships can be purchased online on the organization’s website.
Items for sale will include high-quality paperbacks for adults and children, both fiction
and nonfiction. Also for sale will be DVDs and music CDs. Organizers said the items will be reasonably priced with a large selection.
The Corvallis library is located at 645 NW Monroe Ave.
