Letter: It’s wonderful that the Siletz has reclaimed ancestral land

Thank you for publishing the article about the Siletz land purchase near Table Rocks. I’m thrilled they were able to accomplish this.

I am the treasurer of Philomath Community Services Gleaners and the Siletz Tribe has helped us out tremendously over the last 13 years that I have been writing grants for the Gleaners. It is wonderful that the tribe is able to reclaim some of their heritage and preserve their ancestral land.
