FRIDAY, JUNE 4

• Warrant, 11 p.m., Highway 34 near Alsea, deputies offered ride to Kaitlin Quinn Barber, 26, transient, to reach a phone in Philomath; deputies later arrested Barber on warrants out of Lane County Circuit Court and Florence Municipal Court; Barber was issued citations in lieu of custody.

SATURDAY, JUNE 5

• Disorderly conduct, 3:12 p.m., Highway 20 about 2 miles west of Blodgett, deputies arrested Lisa Guerrin, 55, of Eugene, on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing things at passing cars and attempting to kick them; Guerrin was transported to Corvallis and released with a citation in lieu of custody.

SUNDAY, JUNE 6

Reckless endangering, 7 p.m., Old Peak Road and Ada Drive, deputies responded to a report of gunshots that had been heard; three men were located shooting in the 24300 block of Abbey Lane; they were told not to continue shooting until they had a safe backstop.

MONDAY, JUNE 7

Mail theft, 3:39 p.m., 24700 block of Evergreen Road, deputies took a report from a resident who said a check for $1,000 and one for $5,000 had been stolen from her mailbox around April 20; the resident later found the $5,000 check in its envelope, opened and in her mailbox; no attempts were made to cash the checks.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9

Theft of service, 11:40 a.m., 38200 block of Kings Valley Highway, deputies spoke with a Kings Valley resident by phone who was reporting that his recycling can had been stolen from his residence; the resident needed a case number to not be charged for a new recycling can.
