The vibrant traditions of Indigenous peoples will take center stage as Oregon State University hosts the 46th Annual łatwa ina Pow-Wow on Saturday, May 17 at Gill Coliseum.
The free community celebration, organized by the Native American Student Association in partnership with kaku-Ixt mana ina haws and university allies, offers visitors the opportunity to experience authentic Indigenous culture through traditional dance, music and crafts.
Doors will open at noon, with grand entry ceremonies scheduled for 1 and 6 p.m. Attendees can see the vibrant and colorful displays of traditional dance performances accompanied by Indigenous drummers and singers throughout the day.
The event will also feature a marketplace with authentic Native American arts and crafts available for purchase, along with affordable fry bread and other traditional foods.
The łatwa ina Pow-Wow has been a cornerstone cultural event at Oregon State University for nearly five decades, drawing participants and spectators from across the Pacific Northwest.
