Clemens Primary School in Philomath received a grant in February through the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund, the organization announced.

Clemens Primary School received a $900 grant to purchase new hardback books to give to kindergarten and first grade students at the end of Literacy Week in March.

In all, the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund awarded $427,837.36 to 28 organizations in February. The seven-member charitable fund advisory board has distributed more than $17.5 million since its inception in 2001.
