The Kings Valley Charter School Parent-Teacher Organization is hosting its “Step Into A World of Books” spring auction on Saturday, April 13.
The event begins at 4 p.m. with a silent auction and continues with dinner at 5 p.m. and a live auction at 5:30 p.m.
The menu features Green Eggs and Ham (slow-smoked Spanish pork, rice and black beans, fried plantains, side salad) for $20 and Peter Rabbit (double serving of white rice and black beans, fried plantains, side salad) for $15.
Organizers are asking those planning to attend to sign up for meal tickets by Sunday, April 7.
For those planning to eat, attendance at the auction is free but registration is needed for the distribution of bidding paddles.
On-site child care will be available for potty-trained children with pizza included for $5 per child.
