The Philomath Inclusivity Committee plans to discuss at its meeting Tuesday the development of municipal code language in an effort to become a permanent city committee. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at Philomath City Hall.
The Inclusivity Committee currently operates with ad-hoc status. Among the topics to be covered include changing the name of the committee and beginning work on a committee handbook.
Also on the agenda is an AARP Age Friendly Communities discussion, an update on the Community Meal and reviews of information to distribute on Women’s History Month (March) and Senior Citizen’s Month (August).
For those interested in the meeting but unable to attend at City Hall, it will be live-streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
