The Benton County Historical Society has implemented a ticket reservation system for the public to participate in its various events at the Philomath and Corvallis museums, the organization announced.
Jen Waters, development and communications director, said entry to events can still be purchased at the front desk but encourages people to reserve tickets in advance to secure spots in its programs. Waters said the RSVP and registration system can also help staff plan for upcoming events.
“We are excited to announce a variety of new and returning programs throughout the summer and into the fall,” Waters said through email. “New events include Kitten Yoga, art classes and creative workshops for kids, alongside our established music and lecture series.”
BCHS members as a benefit will receive free access to events through the end of the year by using a promo code during registration.
The organization publishes a list of upcoming events on its website. All of the events, except for a ribbon-cutting on Thursday that does require registration, take place at Corvallis Museum.
Waters said that ticket registration pages can be accessed by clicking the appropriate links on the BCHS website or social media pages. For those needing assistance, front desk staff can be reached at 541-929-6230.
