CORVALLIS — The annual fundraiser for Heartland Humane Shelter & Care featuring a weeklong auction of valued items surrounding a 40-minute virtual Wine & Whiskers Pajama Party for Pets is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m., board president Susan Wechsler announced.
Those who register will discover various levels of participation that include a swag bag of gifts, a beverage of choice and pet products. An online bidding number will be included to manage participation throughout the seven days of the extensive auction that will open on Feb. 22 and run until March 1.
Offers on several choice items will culminate at the special and compact Saturday event online that will also include an introduction of new Heartland Executive Director Chuck Tourtillott, an update on the Heartland shelter and thrift shop operations, the work benefitting Benton County’s animal population and the locals who love them, and an early toast to our family companions.
