A support group for those dealing with the emotions of grief will meet Wednesday, Jan. 17, at College United Methodist Church, the Rev. James Pierce announced.
GriefShare, a 13-session support group, is intended for people that have experienced a major loss in their lives. The self-contained sessions take place each Wednesday from 10-11:30 a.m. in Room 3 at the church, which is located at 1123 Main St.
Pierce said the sessions consist of a 30-minute video followed by a confidential discussion about the video and other topics of interest. The sessions, which run until April 10, are informal and a free workbook is provided.
Participants can also register for the group to obtain other materials and receive online access to the videos.
