Marys River Grange No. 685 in Philomath plans to host its annual Plant Sale and Seed Swap on Saturday, April 29.

The organization’s president, Sonny Hays-Eberts, said the event will run from 10 a.m-2 p.m. at Marys River Grange Hall, 24707 Grange Hall Road. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Philomath Community Services.

Vegetables, herbs, house plants, gardening supplies, native plants and seeds (free and for trade) and more will be available. All prices are by donation.

Hays-Eberts said a grange member plans to be on site to help sharpen tools and to teach others how to sharpen tools. Baby goats from Windy Hill Farm are also scheduled to be at the event.

The plants and items for sale are donated by local farms and members. Leftovers from the event are donated to Lupe’s Community Garden.
