At Home Properties will host a fundraiser on Sunday to help longtime Philomath community member Tom Overlin with costs related to recent medical issues.
The Oct. 25 event will feature a hot chocolate and doughnut/cookie stand from 9 a.m. to noon at the company’s office at 1010 Main St. in downtown Philomath, across the street from the fire station.
Overlin is a longtime member of the Philomath community. Many residents know him through Philomath Rentals, and he has also served as a popular Santa Claus in Philomath for the past 20 years.
A cup of hot chocolate with a doughnut or cookie will cost $5. The fundraiser will also include a raffle featuring items donated by Philomath businesses. Raffle tickets are $2 each or three for $5. Organizers say the morning will also include music.
