A fundraiser to benefit the Philomath High School track and field team’s pole vaulters will run from 8-11 p.m. Friday at Marys River Grange Hall, organizer Alanna Volk said.
Admission is $5 and concessions will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go toward support of the pole vaulting program, specifically to buy new poles and safety equipment.
Volk said the event will include a dance lesson at 8:30 p.m.
The pole vaulters will be among Philomath High’s track and field athletes in action this week at the Oregon West Conference Championships at Clemens Field — the boys at 3:30 p.m. Friday and the girls at 11 a.m. Saturday.
